Keeping our eyes on Jesus

Psalm 37:3-7

Trust in the LORD and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
Take delight in the LORD,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

Commit everything you do to the LORD.
Trust in him, and he will help you.
He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
And the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

Be still in the presence of the LORD,
And wait patiently for him to act.

While things are busy and hectic this time of year, let’s keep our eyes focused on Jesus, on whom our strength depends. (Heb 12:2) Let’s lean not on ourselves in this time, but on the strength and power of our Heavenly Father. Let’s stay in communion with him at all times by including him in every situation. Let’s trust in him and demonstrate faith, faith in his plan for our life, and faith that he will deliver us safely into the promise he has waiting for us. Let’s delight ourselves in the awe of God’s splendor and in doing so, he will give us our heart’s desires. Let us commit everything we do to him and in faith and trust – he will surely help us. He will make our cause grow with the momentum and power that only he can deliver. Finally, let us be still and know HE is God, wait patiently in good character, and allow him to do that which no man can do.

I hope you’re enjoying this Christmas Season.
