The process of waiting on God can be a trying experience, but those who wait on the LORD for their help will see HIS mighty power.

Step 1 – Seek him daily and expect to hear from him
Psalms 5:3 – Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.

Step 2 – Wait patiently with hope and courage
Psalms 27:14 – Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

Step 3 – Wait with bold confidence
Micah 7:7 As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I will wait confidently for the LORD to save me, and my God certainly will.

So, beyond the simple virtue of patience, it matters a great deal to God how we wait when we’re doing it. During our waiting period, what did we do, how did we act, what were we saying? Are we confident in HIS plan, do we trust him, and are we demonstrating character during the process?
