Are you alive in Christ? Are you led by the Spirit of God? What controls your heart and mind?
These are good questions for believers to ask, and a reminder to continually be led by the Spirit so that we can make our greatest difference for God and his glory.
“God destroyed sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the requirement of the law would be fully accomplished for us who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” Romans 8:3-4
“But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit of God living in you.” Romans 8:9
Thinking about your day to day life, can you think of instances where you allow the Spirit’s leading? Can you think about times when you don’t want to be led, so you can do your own thing? What is God pulling at your heart and mind about? What is he calling you to do? Are you listening? Why aren’t you letting him lead you? He is trying to meet with you, speak into you, give you a fresh start and a new beginning. He’s got something greater for you, but do you receive it? Do you see it? Do you believe it? Reach out to him, he’s waiting for you.
What is God calling you to do? Make haste, don’t delay, meet with him and get a word for your life that will light the fire within you to continue to seek, serve, and obey your Heavenly Father.
Blessings to you as you move towards daily obedience to the word put on your heart. Blessings to you as you move to walk closer with God, walking in the Spirit and not of your flesh. Blessings to you as you realize your purpose and do it for God. May God bless you, encourage you, keep you, strengthen you, and be for you what you need, so that you will full, full of life and full of blessing.
